Obituary For Benny Scott

MR. BENNY LEBRON SCOTT – AGE 62, Of Lithonia, Georgia and formerly of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017. He was a member of the Triumph Pentecostal Church and a Musician for Curtis Mayfield, The Impressions, Lenny Kravitz and The Group Wilson Meadows Revue. He was predeceased in death by his father; Mr. Benny Bonner, two brothers; Joseph “Lucky” Scott and Larry Scott. Survivors are his loving family, wife; Trina Barnes Scott, daughter; Charmelle James, one grandson, mother; Mary Gooden Scott, sister; Rhonda Faye Burson, aunt; Annie Ruth Ross, uncle; Samuel (Gloria) Gooden, special cousins; Michael (Linda) Gooden, Pauline Lofton, two nephews and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at Hardwick and Sons Chapel located at 913 East Martin Luther King Boulevard, Chattanooga, Tennessee with Elder Wilbert McClure officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
