MS. BETTY MAE DAVIS WOODS – Age 80, of LaFayette, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. She was born on December 23, 1941 to the late Carrie Lee Shoemaker and Merlyn Davis. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and was retired from Buster Brown of LaFayette.
Survivors are her loving daughters, Vicky Toles, Trena C. (Johnnie) Jones; son, William A. (Tamara) Powell; grandchildren, Ivory L. (Draper) Dyson, Joshua (Smarte) Toles, Morgan E. Toles, Andrew A. Toles, Kasey A. Toles, Johnna L. Jones, Kimberly Vassel, Johnathan Vassel; great grandchildren, Riley L. Dyson, and Reese I. Dyson; aunt, Katherine Stevenson; cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Graveside Service and Interment will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 3:30 P. M. at the LaFayette City Cemetery, LaFayette, Georgia with Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor as Eulogist. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 – 4:30 P. M. at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home. The repast will be on Sunday at Dot’s Place (Willis Multipurpose Room) immediately following the Visitation. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
