MRS. CAROLYN JEANETTE BECK O'NEAL - Age 78, of Dalton, GA passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026. She was born September 6, 1947 to her late parents, Floyd and Roberta Flemming Beck. Carolyn attended Emory Street School. During her marriage, Carolyn attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church. After her husband’s passing, Carolyn began attended to Mtn. Ridge Baptist Church and was last going to New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Carolyn was employed by J & J Industries for over 20 years until her retirement. Carolyn loved to dance and sing, daily walks, reading her bible, baking, and listening to Gospel and R & B classics.
Carolyn is preceded in death by husband, Fred Lee O’Neal; parents, Floyd and Roberta Flemming Beck; and one sister and seven brothers.
Those left to cherish Carolyn’s memories are her children, Dorothy E. Beck, Pelam “Wink” Beck, and Bernard “Judy” Beck; stepchild, Marvin Clemonts and Kerry O'Neal; grandchildren, Camry Famber and Jalisia (Tracy) Hart, Kerry Lynn, great-grandchildren, Makhya, Keith, and Marcus; brother, Chester (Arlene) Beck; sister, Rose Beck, brother-in-law, Freddie (Linda) O’Neal; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be Friday, August 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Rheubin Taylor, Sr., Eulogist, and Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Presider. Her remains will lie in state on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour. Interment; Chattanooga National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.
