MR. C. B. ?Ç£LUMP?ÇØ HIGGINBOTHAM,- AGE 102, Of Calhoun, Georgia and formerly of Adairsville, Georgia passed away Wednesday evening, November 23, 2011 at Calhoun Health Care. He was retired from the City of Calhoun after forty years of service. He was preceded in death this year by his wife, Mrs. Oteel Curtis Higginbotham. He was member of Friendship Baptist Church.Survivors are his loving family, three daughters, Mrs. Ella Phillips, Mrs. Avinell (Rev. James) Howell of Calhoun, Georgia, Ms. Patricia Denise Aker of Armuchee, Georgia; one son, Mr. Jearl Higginbotham of Calhoun; three stepchildren, Mrs. Miriam McDow (Frank Sr.) Henderson, Mrs. Beverly Ann McDow (Norman, Sr.) Johnson of Cartersville, Georgia, Mr. Ambrose Caleb (Mary) McDow of Athens, Georgia; nineteen grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren, fifteen great great grandchildren; a nephew, Mr. Bill Ervin of Cincinnati, Ohio; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and special caregivers at Calhoun Health Care Center.Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 1:00 p. m. at Mission Of All God?ÇÖs Children, 725 Court Street, Calhoun, Georgia with Rev. Leonard Daniel and Missionary Janie Aker officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday evening from 6:00 - 7:00 p. m. Interment, Colbert Cemetery.
