MR. CHRISTOPHER SEAN STOREY – AGE 48, - Of Calhoun, Georgia and formerly of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Mr. James C. Rooker, grandparents, Mr. Cicero Storey and Mrs. Lois Suttles Storey. Christopher was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and worked at Beaulieu of America. He is survived by his companion, Angie Culver Storey of Calhoun, Georgia; sons, Joshua Cole Storey of Dalton, Georgia, Caleb Sean Storey; daughter, Alexis Lee Storey of Calhoun; grandson, Aiden Sean Storey; stepdaughter, Rebecca Chapman of Jacksonville, Florida; mother, Joyce Storey of Dalton; brothers, Rod (Krystal) Storey of Dalton, Ray Storey of Cartersville, Georgia; and Kelly (Valerie) Storey of Dalton; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, special cousin, Randall (Gina) Storey; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Culver of Chatsworth, Georgia, Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Woody of Dalton; special grandmother, Marie Dann of Dalton; other cousins, relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 1, 2016 at 1:00 P. M. at Mountain Ridge Baptist Church, 1401 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, GA. with Dr. Nathan Nance as Eulogist and Dr. Jerry Jones, presiding. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Thursday after 11:00 a. m. and the family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday afternoon from 4:00 – 8:00 P. M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Honorary Casketbearers will be the Dalton High School Class of 1986. Active Casketbearers will be Ollie Harris, Tracy Steele, James Alexander, John Chandler, Jamey Dukes, Keith Cooper, Danny Beck, Chris Cooper, and Kenny King.
