Jr, was more than a friend. He was my brother. We worked together and enjoyed all of our get together. I pray for the family. I got to talk to him on Friday and we were planning on getting together. I will forever miss you bro. I heart is broken. I will see you again.

JR and I became close friends when he worked at my dad's car wash in high school. He was hilarious and we always had good times. Dad thought of him like a son and they kept in touch throughout the years. We can't believe he's gone, but hope he is resting in peace. He was such a sweet soul, and he'll be greatly missed. J.r. Was the absolute love of my life. We shared such a beautiful little family before he was taken from us too soon. I miss him everyday but I know he is in a better place. I'm praying for his mother, father, children, siblings & everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was all of our biggest blessing and he knew it ❤️

Jr was like a brother to many of us from ringgold high school... from friends from ammanuel adam me and justin and jason if you seen him chances are ya seen one of us....we had many fun times together growing up from riverbend nights to rides in the red grand am he use to drive...fish those was the days...those times will continue to live on in my heart....and to all the family and many friends stay safe and stay close with one another in this time of need...many prayers and tons of love are coming yalls way were all here if ya need us....

I was so saddened to hear the news that JR had passed. The moments we all shared from the trampoline to the bike rides that kept us all out passed when the streetlights came on were truly special. I am praying for the entire Burton family. Jeremy Lumpkin

Jr and I were inseparable growing up. Being basically neighbors, we shared lots of memories from sleepovers, jumping on the trampoline, community swimming pool, playing basketball in the backyard, then to playing on the same team all through school. After moving away we lost touch, other than social media, but I've always had love for him, because I've always considered him my to be my brother.
