Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for loaning my father to me for 79 years. We are so blessed to have shared this life with a gentle giant. Daddy, my heart is hurting so bad. I know if you had the opportunity to call me one more time, you would have. You fought a good fight here on earth. You never complained, you endured your pain like a champion. Your smile was contagious. I will miss our daily conversation and laughter. I will honor you forever my Vietnam Hero. We will see each other again. Hug my brother for me.

Your oldest daughter, Serita Thompson Morton
