Obituary For Deirdre Makeba Trammell
MS. DEIRDRE MAKEBA TRAMMELL - Age 49, of Calhoun, GA passed away Friday, September 26, 2025. She was born on February 10, 1976 to Irene Porch Trammell and the late Donald Edward Trammell, Sr.. She was preceded by her sister, Ivy Trammell โ Couch. Deirdre was a former member of Allen Chapel A. M. E. Church and was a member of Echota Baptist Church in Calhoun, GA. She was a graduate of Gordon Central High School Class of 1995.
Precious memories will remain with her mother, Irene Porch Trammell; sisters, Cecilia Lynette Clemmons, April S. Jackson, Brea Trammell; brothers, Kenyon Trammell, Donald Edward Trammell, Jr., all of Calhoun, Georgia, and Brian Trammell of Rome, Georgia; special nephew, Darius Trammell; special niece, Janya Carter; aunt, Cora Lee Lowe; uncle, Randolph Trammell; special cousin who was like a brother, Keith Porch; other relatives, friends, and her church family.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 2:00 P. M. at Echota Baptist Church, 35 College Circle, Calhoun, Georgia 30701. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
