MR. DWIGHT RAMON POLLARD - Age 59, of Rome, Georgia and formerly of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020. He graduated from Chattooga County High School. Afterwards, he attended Mars Hill College then later transferred to the University of Georgia where he received a degree in Social Work. He had a passion for all kinds of sports. He worked hard and never met a stranger. He was caring and giving. He loved listening to music and eating his mother’s cooking.
He is survived by his children, Michael Youngblood, Cedric Youngblood, Darius Ramon Pollard, Demetrius Antione Pollard, Dominque Ramon Harris Pollard, Zahreeah Jasmine Shontel Harris, and Jaiden Niles Harris; grandchild Micah Pollard; mother, Joan Terrell; siblings, Dorcus (Marion) McCary, Duncan Eric Shropshire, Valerio McCary Pollard, and Tara (Corey) Terrell Pennamon; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Upon his family’s wishes, Mr. Dwight Pollard will be cremated at a later date. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.
