MR. EVERETT WASDELL EVANS β Age 82, of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025. He was born on August 12, 1942 to the late John L. Evans and Lelia Finley Evans. Loved ones who preceded him are his two sons, Patrick Lebron Evans, Sr., Gerone Ladelle Evans, two brothers, Alvin Evans, and Lenton Evans. He was retired from Inland Mills for over thirty-eight years, and was a member of Finley Chapel Church.
Survivors are his loving grandchildren, Patrick LeBron Evans, Jr., Payton Davis, Gerone Marquel Evans, Perez Shropshire, Ayanna Young, Kayanne Lee; great grandchildren, Amiyah Evans, an Messiah Evans; two sisters, Dorothy Ann Strickland, Irma Jean (Calvin) Starks; two brothers, George (Rosa Lee) Evans, Arthell Evans; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends; caregiver, Teicher Thurman.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 12:00 noon at New Spirit and Truth of Jesus Church, 487 Scoggins Street, Summerville, Georgia with Bishop V. T. Harden and other Ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a. m. until the funeral hour. Interment, Evans Family Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
