MRS. FANNIE MAE DAVIS BUCHANAN - Age 76 , of Atlanta, GA and formerly of Rossville, GA passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025. She was born on August 27, 1949 to her late parents, Glen and Fannie Lou Davis. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Bell Dallas and Evelyn Paulette Davis. Fannie was a graduate of Hill High School Class of 1967 and was a faithful member of the Camp Creek Church of Christ in Atlanta, Georgia.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of fifty-seven years, David Buchanan; her children, Genita (Derrick) Wooten of Douglasville, Georgia, David βMikeβ Buchanan (Kim Ramson) of Rossville; Daylan (Ajai) Lawrence of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her beloved grandchildren, Franchott (Sharita) Harris, Devaughn Buchanan, MaKaila Buchanan; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Charles N. Davis of Knoxville, Tennessee; sisters, Glenda Davis Sims (Wyman) of East Point, Georgia, Carolyn Davis Corria (Stanley) of Fort Washington, Maryland, Judy Davis Snowden of Fairburn, Georgia; sister-in-law, Helen Jackson of Kennesaw, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Home Going Service for Mrs. Fannie Mae Davis Buchanan will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 2:00 P. M. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel, 2011 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia 30721 with Minister Carlman Jaffar as Eulogist. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before her service. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
