EVANGELIST FELICIA DENISE COVINGTON – Age 44, of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017. She was born on February 13, 1973 to George Covington and the late Dale L. Shropshire Covington. Her brother, Sheldon Covington, also preceded her in death. Felicia was retired from the State of Alabama, a member of The Deliverance Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Inc., a graduate of Trion High School Class of 1991 and the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. She is survived by her father, George Covington; sister, Cheryl C. Weems of Summerville, Georgia and Dawn P. Taylor of Chattanooga, Tennessee; brother, George P. (Diane) Covington of Trion, Georgia; special sisters, Farris Simmons and Kay Hidgemon; aunt, Bertha Darden, Mary Covington, and Faye Ramsey; uncle, Henry Covington; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church, Georgia Avenue, Summerville, Georgia, with Bishop Clifton Black and other ministers officiating.
