MR. GEORGE WASHINGTON GARNER, SR. – Age 74, - Of Gainesville, Georgia and he was born in Dalton, Georgia on April 24, 1943, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Constance “Connie” Garner, parents, Robert Garner, and Maggie Lewis Garner.

He is survived by his sons, George Garner, Jr., Ricky Few, Anthony Few, Johnathon Riffe; daughters, Carla Brooks, Arether Wright, Cynthia Randolph, of Gainesville, Georgia; grandchildren, Tabitha King, Quenisha Garner, Katicia Cavazos, Ebony Norman, Alicia Garner, Darrell White, Jr., Deontray White, John King, Ricky Riffe, Jr., great grandchildren, Camilla Johnson, Ava Smallwood, Chloe Smallwood, Torianna Harris, Tiana Harris, Demorious King; sister, Peggy Duke of Gainesville; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service for George Garner will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel with Dr. Thomas Hall as Eulogist. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Saturday after 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour on Sunday. Interment, Fairground Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
