MRS. GEORGIA BELL HEARD RICHEY – AGE 88,- Of Cartersviile, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. She was born on April 17, 1933 in Franklin, Georgia, Heard County to her late parents, John Thomas Heard and Julie Bell Rome Heard. She was preceded by her husband, Willie Richey, Sr., daughters, Joyce Richey, Tammy Richey, sons, Willie Richey, Jr., Allen D. Richey, and grandson, William Scott Richey. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Grassdale Baptist Church.
Survivors are her loving and devoted daughters, Lizzie B. Richey, Ella Mae Miller, Patty Rene Richey; five sons, Silas H. Richey, Sr., John T. Richey, Andrew (Carolyn) Richey, Jody L. Richey, all of Carterville, Georgia, Kelvin ( Rebecca) Richey of Cobb County, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Marva Lee Richey; one sister, Mildred Peeks; brother, Earnest (Linda) Dean; sister-in-law, Alma Ruth Heard; fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; goddaughter, Valerie Kimbrough; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family, and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Zion Grassdale Baptist Church, 207 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, GA. 30120 with Rev. Charles Morgan as Eulogist and Pastor William Q. Watkins, Officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Oak Hill Cemetery, 319 N. Erwin Street, Cartersville, GA 30120. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
