MRS. GLENDA ANETT DWIGHT TAYLOR – Age 69, of Dalton Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026. She was born January 15, 1957 to her late parents, James S. Dwight and Nettie Blalock Dwight. Glenda was employed by Fannin County Library, ConAgra Foods, Bojangles, and Sample Communications. Glenda attended Dalton House of Prayer as well as other church in the community. She loved going fishing with her late husband, Henry Curtis Taylor, dancing and Zumba Class, and staying active with her coloring books.
Glenda is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Curtis Taylor; daughter, Sandra Ann Dwight; parents, James S. Dwight and Nettie Blalock; three sisters, Mary Griffith, Brenda Dwight, Barbara Dwight; seven brothers, Misters Otis, Jack, Gene, Robert Earl, Tommy, Larry, and Stevie Dwight.
Those left to remember Glenda’s memories are her children, Lisa (David) Motley, Glen (Malena) Harkless, Jr., George (Carrie) Harkless, Tony Taylor, and Becky (Marcus) Quinn; half-brother, David (Jan) Watson; sister-in-law, Brenda Rhodes Dwight; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Willis Funeral Home with, Bishop Bennie Tibbs, Eulogist and Bishop N. P. Starling, Officiant. The family will receive extended family and friends on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Willis Funeral Home. Interment at Hopewell Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.

I only got to meet you a couple of times because you are my grandson's grandmother as well. Devin Harkless is our grandson! I'm happy to know that you were a child of God and that's the greatest blessing ever!! We will live forever in heaven with Him!! I will see you soon my sister-in-Christ Jesus!!
