Henry Clark Smith

My condolences and prayers out the to family. May God give you strength, understanding and peace. I would always run into and talk with Clark at one of two stores, him getting his lottery tickets at Circle K or him picking up his big winnings at Kroger and sometime him just bringing someone to the store that needed a ride. He would always ask about his niece, Brandy which is my niece also, He would say "have you talked to that ole Brandy". Heaven gained a good one. Rest in Peace Clarke.

Clark and I spent so many days during my school years talking on the school bus before and during the time he was picking up other children. I treasure those memories. He was a kind and loving man and always treated me like family. Even though we grew apart as I graduated high school and got older, I considered him almost family and would still greet him with a smile and a warm hug whenever I got to see him. Like a favorite uncle. He will be missed. I don't know if he ever realized how much he was truly loved. Rest well in the arms of Jesus my friend. I look forward to the day I will see you again. You will be missed.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family Clark was an awesome man I awesome bus driver and even when I was able to work with him many many years ago after the Friday Night Football games on Saturday morning he would take us to to the Yellow Jacket and buy us a biscuit before we started work he has always remained the same, a very humble man he deserved a humanitarian award he will truly be missed not only by friends and family but for those that had brief contact with him your legacy will forever live with me may you rest in peace Clark

I have such fond memories of Clark when I was growing up. He worked with my mom, Marcia Parker, at Eastside and was always in a great mood. I don't remember a time when he wasn't smiling and laughing. I rode his bus when I moved to the elementary school in the afternoons and he always had some great story to tell. My favorite memory of Clark was when he was in Desert Storm we had mailed me a response and told me he couldn't wait to get back to see my smile. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Mr. Clark basically lived at my place of employment... Circle k. He would always see me whether I was on the clock or not and say "oh no, not you"... And would smile and laugh as I joke back with him. He was such an amazing person and had the biggest personality. He was my favorite customer by far and he was a great friend. R.I.P Mr Clark and I hope you continue to watch over us as you did before. We love and miss you!!
