Obituary For Herman Nathaniel Warthen, Jr.

MR. HERMAN NATHANIEL WARTHEN, JR. - Age 74, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020. He was born September 22, 1945 to his late parents Graton N. Warthen, Sr. and Josie Mae Harris. Others preceding him are his son, Emanuel Dewayne Williams, and sisters, Betty Harris and Georgia Thompson.

Survivors are his sisters, Gracie Mae Warthen of Ringgold, GA and Edna (Matthew) Washington of East Ridge, TN; brothers, Charles (Elizabeth) Warthen of Ringgold, GA Melivin (Janice) Warthen of Chattanooga, TN, Russell (Amy) Harris of Rossville, GA, and Jimmy (Shelly) Harris of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Cordaryl Rivers, Cory Lee Marsh, Emanuel Dewayne Williams, Jr., LeBron Williams, and Devonna Williams; great grandchildren, Tamya Rivers and Demarquez Corey; aunts, Bessie Montgomery and Alice Bonner both of Chattanooga, TN; uncle, Ross Harris of LaFayette, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1:30 P.M. at Friendship Baptist Church, 20 Parrish Circle, Chickamauga, GA 30707, with Rev. Harry Reeves, Presider and Rev. Russell Harris, Eulogist. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Interment: Wood Station Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.
