MS. IRA ERNESTA ANDERSON βTAINβ MOORE - Age 63,of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025. She was born February 26, 1962. Ira was a graduate of Dalton High School Class of 1981, where she was a talented runner on the Track Team. Ira was last employed by Dorsett Industries, Inc. as a Machine Tufting Operator. She was last attending Community Fellowship Church. Ira was affectionately known for having a beautiful smile, being a dedicated worker, listening to her gospel music, and spending time with her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Anderson and Gerline Moore; sister, Faye Anderson; and a host of her beloved uncles and other family members.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Shanda Moore and Shonda Moore; grandchildren, LaShay Witherow, Desiyah Jones, Jashon Moore, and Malachi Moore; siblings, Marcus Anderson, Laverne (Lynette) Pete Anderson, Pamela Anderson, and Gerald Anderson; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Willis Funeral Home, with Pastor David Thomas, Eulogist. The family will receive extended family and friends on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. β 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment; West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Dalton, GA.

Ira was my friend. She was silly, loveable and caring. Her smile was infectious as well as beautiful. Years ago she would call me and say " friend I need my hair done '. I would tell her come on I got you. Today, 9/14/2025 is when I learned of her passing!! To Shanda and Shonda y'all had a ride or die Mama who loved you, your children and the rest of the family with a love some never feel. Ira will never be forgotten!! β¨π«
