MR. IRVIN TERRANCE COOPER - Age 65, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, January 17, 2025. Mr. Cooper was born on October 7, 1959 to the late Julian “Buddy” Cooper and Ollie Mae Kenion Cooper. He was preceded by his brother, Lanny Cooper, sister Anita Gail Turman, two nephews, Ernie Oliver, and Julian Maurice “Snook” Cooper. He was a United States Marine Veteran and was Honorably Discharged.
Survivors are his loving and devoted children, LaTerra (Dijon) Roberson, Lindsey Taylor, Dontate ( Nidia) Washington; six grandchildren, Zykiria, Elijah, Amayah, Braxton, Mya, and Dontate, Jr.; siblings, Bernard (Cheryl) Betton, Renard (Cynthia) Cooper, Derrick Cooper, Cathy (Phillip) McPherson; sister-in-law, Eunice Cooper; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives; special friend, Shirley Washington, and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Dr. Jerry D. Jones as Eulogist. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday, January 24, 2025 after 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
