MR. JAMES LAMAR LAWRENCE – Age 49, of Cartersville, GA formerly Summerville, GA passed away Friday, January 21, 2022. He was a member of New Spirit and Truth Assembly of Jesus Church. He was the owner of Man of Vision Trucking. He was preceded in death by his father, James Lawrence, mother, Nona Adams, and brother, Charles Johnson.

Survivors are his wife, Minister Charleathia Fain Lawrence; children, Darius Lawrence, Makala Mitchell, Glen Williams, and Donald Shropshire; sisters, Monalisa Adams, Tina Jett, Sharon Lawrence, Stephanie Lawrence, and Melissa Lawrence; brother, Chris Lawrence; granddaughter, Kashmere Brown; adopted father, Bishop V. T. (Sherelyn) Harden; aunts, Brenda Williamson, Robin Williams, Pamela (Warren) Albert, Glenice Thurman, and Mary Thurman; uncles, Michael (Sandra) Allen, Vernon (Sandy) Thurman, and Jerry (Bernice) Allen; great aunt, Frankie Shropshire; mother-in-law, Charlotte Fain; sisters-in-law, Sharronda (Marcus) Thompson and Dieshylle Fain; brother-in-law, Keith Fain; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends; special friends, Larry Wilson, Eric Watts, and Lamont McCrae.

Celebration of Life Service for James Lamar Lawrence will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at New Spirit and Truth Assembly of Jesus Church, 487 Scoggins Street, Summerville, GA 30747 with Pastor Bishop V. T. Harden, Eulogist. The family will receive friends from 11:30 A. M. until the funeral hour. Interment; Floyd Memory Garden, Rome, GA. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 12:00 noon. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.
