MR. JEFFERY FRANK BROOME – Age 70, of Dalton, Ga passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026. He was born January 17, 1956 to his late parents, Roy Frank Broome and Mattie Ruth Smith Broome in Hogansville, GA. Jeffrey was raised in Liberty Baptist Church, Dalton, GA. Jeffrey was employed by Jot’m Down Furniture Store, Bob’s Towing and Recovery Service, and West Yellow Knife Trading Post. Jeffery enjoyed watching old school western shows and outdoor sports, working on cars, and spending time with his beloved family.
Jeffery is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charlie Roy Broome, Calvin Broome, and Richard Broome; sister, Sherry Watson; and grandmother, Josie Smith.
Those left to cherish Jeffery’s memories are his children, Marquise Thompson; brother, Willie Horace Broome; sister, Kathy (Marcus) Broome Barrett; close family friend, Claudia McNabb; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 1:00 P. M. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charles Catchings as the Eulogist. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.

Jeffrey I'm going to miss the long talks we had in person and on the phone Times when we sured our testimony about Jesus all the times you helped me by drawing to my doctor appointment or the ER when we would shop at Walmart or just when we needed each other. I love you brother Rest In Peace!
