MR. JEROLD TYRONE TINSON, SR. – Age 71, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016. He was born on February 4, 1945 to the late Tom and Emma Lizzie Bryant Tinson. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cassandra Denise Tinson, and brother-in-law, Elonza Langston. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and retired from Collins and Aikman. He was a member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church and the American Legion. He is survived by his devoted wife of fifty years, Mary Alice Herrington Tinson; three sons, Jerold Tyrone Tinson, Jr., Raymond Alexander Tinson, Christopher Allen (Deshaunte) Tinson, all of Rocky Face, Georgia; grandchildren, Jasmine Tinson, Christopher Tinson, Cassandra Tinson, Aspen Tinson, Miranda Tinson, Ashton Tinson, Alexus Tinson, Anna Tinson, Trevon Tucker, and Clinton Tucker; great grandchildren, Jerald Jayden Tinson and Kameron Tinson; sisters, Shirley (Edward) Little, Mary Anetia (Hugh) Shropshire, Betty Langston, Marcella (Fred) McDade, and Effie (Eurskine) Lyons; brother, Gerald Lee Tinson; aunts, Hattie Mullins, and Clara Bryant; a host of other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The Service of Celebration will be Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 1:00 P. M. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eugene Miller, officiating and Rev. James Clark as Eulogist. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M.
