Aunt Jo Pearl, always supported us and was not just an Aunt, but seregate mother to all of us, my cousins, her sons where not just cousins but brothers, protectors, defenders, and friends. One story that always tickled Jo Pearl occurred on a particular hot day while she and my mother were just going to stop at the store for a " minute", which was far more than a minute. Me an angry preteen said to them very belligerently " Where ya'll been, it tickled both my mother and Jo Pearl. I said it again " I said where ya'll been. Jo Pearl laughing told my mother " he thinks he's grown. Later that phrase turned " you ain't too old for a butt whipping. Rest in the loving memories Aunt Jo Pearl. Love.❤️

She was a wonderful lady and always treaded me with kindness and love. Her Italian cream cheese cake was awesome and she would remind me when she was bringing one to church. Thank you Richard for sharing her with me.
