MS. JOANN ROBBS – Age 82, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023. She was born on July 28, 1940 in LaFayette, Georgia to her late parents Gordon Robbs, Mattie Jackson Robbs, and step mother, Joan Robbs. She was a graduate of Hill High School. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church. She retired after 25 years of employment from Shaw Industries where she was an Inspector. She enjoyed watching basketball, soap operas, and westerns. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Cunningham, and nephews, Randy Robbs and Ricky Robbs.
She is survived by her loving children, Ronald Alan (Melandy) Robbs and Angela (Todd) Glover; 11 grandchildren, Ashanti (T.J.) Blackwell, Givonne (Bryce) Arnold, Kanova Mitchell, Christian (Shynekqua) Mitchell, Christian Glover, Deija Glover, Ramone (Grecia) Robbs, Shawntia Robbs, Hailey Robbs, Ryan Robbs, and Ashley (Scoot) Penn; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Robbie (Herman) McSears, Lee (Regina) Robbs, Scott (Beverly) Robbs, Donna Faye Jones; aunts, Martha Ray Harris and Robbie Anderson; uncle, Quinton Robbs; special cousin, Marvin Jackson; special niece and caregiver, Keysia Robbs; a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Homegoing Service will be Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 2:00 P. M. at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Archie Jackson, Eulogist. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
