Obituary For Joyce Ann Clark

MS. JOYCE ANN CLARK – Age 70, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026. She was born on January 29, 1956, to her parents, the late Rev. Talmadge Clark and Mary Ella Johnson Clark.

Ms. Clark was a faithful employee of Hutcheson Medical Center in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, for 39 years, where she served as a steady source of compassion, dedication, and excellence to everyone she encountered. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion that continues to inspire her family and all who knew her. She loved spending time with family and shopping in her free time.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Alice Grogins and Brenda Gale Foster.

Survivors include her loving and devoted children, Lapeachtriss Turner (Cedric) of Bowie, Maryland, and Gregory Clark (Bianca Knox) of Rossville, Georgia; grandchildren, Juhstic Turner of Bowie, Maryland, Cedric J. Turner of Raleigh, North Carolina, Kaela Addison (Keeshawn “Martin”) of Laurel, Maryland, Ashanti Rochelle of Augusta, Georgia, Imani Clark, Gregory Clark II, Talmadge Clark, and Siah Clark of Rossville, Georgia, Dasean McCall of Bowie, Maryland; great‑grandchildren, Nyla Turner, Gabriel Turner McCall, Wynter Turner, Nova Turner, and Kennedi Addison.

She is also survived by her brothers, Rev. James Clark of Chickamauga, Georgia, Robert Clark of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Elder Michael Clark of Chickamauga, Georgia; brother‑in‑law, Willie Foster of Chickamauga, Georgia; aunt, Bertha Burse of Rossville, Georgia; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and her Hutcheson Medical Center family.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at Friendship Baptist Church, 20 Parrish Circle, Chickamauga, Georgia 30707, with Rev. James Clark serving as Eulogist and Pastor Jerry Burse, Presider. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment; Naomi Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.

She was a wonderful cousin that old me of the time about my mom and her were in the hospital when me and her beautiful daughter were born almost on the same day we separated by the day because she was born that night and I was born during that day basically in which made us born a day apart and Sheryl and others and I would celebrate our birthdays every year while we're young over there house every summer and we had so much fun together it was some of my fondest memories and I didn't realize how many relatives we had born in July it's quite a bit and still growing but they traditionally did it for everybody but it was even special to me because of the birthday twin story she knew how to make you feel unique and make you smile she was a true patron of the family whom I deeply appreciate and miss her fabulous mentor ship and story telling that was affection and joy and got better and her joking and playful nature made you always easy to approach her in hard times Her and their family were true to the gospel and very wise and grounded that's what made the visit special every time we saw them rest in peace my friend and cousin in gods family we'll see each other again my angel Joyce
