Justine Till Moseley, 86, died peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025 at her home in Dalton, Georgia. Justine was born January 24, 1939 in Forsyth, Georgia to the late Cecil Calvin and Homie Lindsey Till. Justine attended Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, Georgia. In 1957, she married the Rev. Robert (Bob) D. Moseley and together they had three children.
She later graduated from Augusta Technical College with a degree in Horticulture. She taught Horticulture at Augusta Technical College, Thomson Campus, until her retirement in 2001. Justine was a woman of deep faith and a lover of nature, especially flowers and butterflies. She found joy in serving as a minister’s wife for over 45 years and sharing her love for horticulture with family and friends. Her legacy will carry on through the many flowers, plants and shrubs that she shared with her daughters, friends, and neighbors. Each year as the clematis, rose and Clivia bloom her loved ones will think of her. In her retirement years, she loved working in her garden, being actively engaged in her church community and caring for her grandchildren. In 2008, she embarked on a new adventure, moving to Trumansburg, New York to be close to her youngest grandchildren after living most of her life in Georgia. All of her grandchildren hold very fond and loving memories of baking, gardening, reading and spending time with their Grandmama.
Justine is survived by her son, David Moseley (Jeanne Bytell) of Dunnellon, Florida, daughters, Robyn Bryant (Chris) of Dalton, Georgia and Jeanne Moseley (Stephan Schmidt) of Ithaca, New York, grandchildren, Bailey Bryant of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Noah, Sabena and Noelle Schmidt of Ithaca, New York, and special friends, Irene Lyons of Dalton, Georgia and Sherica Henderson of Vinings, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Moseley, granddaughter, Christian Moseley Bryant, and brother, Calvin L. Till Sr.

Mrs. Moseley was the YWA leader at McIntyre Baptist in the mid to late 1960s. She was such a sweet and positive role model for us girls. We were blessed to know and learn from her. May God give you peace and comfort in the days ahead.
