Obituary For Lessie Mae Thomas Foster
MRS. LESSIE MAE THOMAS FOSTER - Age 87, of Rossville, Georgia passed away Monday, December 16, 2024. She was born October 10, 1937 in Sylacauga, AL to her late parents, Willie and Alberta Sydney James. She was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and preceded by her husband, Rev. Aaron Lee Foster.
She is survived by her loving children; sons, Jesse (Marnita) Foster, Sr. and Calvin Foster both of Chattanooga, TN, daughters, Clara King of Town Creek, AL, Mattie (Sheridan) McMahan of Chattanooga, TN, and Emma Cox-Jones of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Jessyca Foster of Chattanooga, TN and Jesse (Anita Lay) Foster, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN; sister-in-law, Rose Murphy, Mae Dell Foster of Chattanooga, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, Mt. Peria Church family, and friends.
Graveside Service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 2:30 P.M. at Ringgold Community Cemetery, 73 Sidekick Lane, Ringgold, GA 30736 with Pastor William Tramble, Eulogist. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home Friday, December 20, 2024 after 12:00 Noon. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home.
