MS. LINDA REBECCA PINSON – Age 77, of Dallas, GA, formerly Dalton, GA, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026. She was born January 17, 1949 to her late parents, Joseph Pinson and Pauline Moore Pinson. Linda was a graduate of Emery Street School Class of 1967. Linda was employed by General Telephone & Electronics Corporation, later known at Alltel. She retired after 35 years of service to the company. Linda was raised in New Hope Baptist Church and later became a member of Mtn. Ridge Baptist Church.
Linda enjoyed shopping, walking and exercising at the Dalton Community Center, enjoying her Sunday rides after church, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents ; siblings, Arthur Joe Penson, William “Bill” Pinson, Edward George Penson, Thomas Franklin “Mack” Pinson, Sr., Wilma Shepherd, Frances Pinson, and Phyllis Broome.
Those left to cherish Linda’s memories are her devoted children, Rodney (Toya) O’Neal, Marlon (S. Evette) O’Neal, Emily (Barnard) Reed, and last but not least, Bradford ( Panzella) O’Neal; grandchildren; Taylor Starks Harvey, Morgan O’Neal, Jasmyne O’Neal, Landon O’Neal, and Nilah Reed; three great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be Friday, May 8, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Willis Funeral Home, 2011 Martin L. King, Jr., Blvd, Dalton, GA 30721, with Pastor Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Eulogist. Her remains will lie in state on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour. Interment; West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.

Rodney, Scottie, Emily and Brad, your Mother was a beautiful person inside and outside. She was just like Aunt Phyllis, always had a smile on their beautiful faces, I know Aunt Phyllis is happy, along with her parents and siblings they are all together now. I pray that God will wrap you all in His loving arms. Ms. Linda is free, no pain and no more hurt. She is at home with God.
Ms. Linda, what a beautiful woman inside and out, I will forever cherish our friendship and love that you had for me, To Brad, Scottie, Rodney and Emily thank you all for sharing your mother with me, I am praying that God gives you all peace and comfort and the strength to endure.
