Born on June 8, 1970, Lisa was the youngest of four children and the only daughter of the late John F. Bonds and Ida Mae Bonds. She was also preceded in death by her beloved maternal grandparents, Jim and Bessie Bonds, and Dennis Green and Julia Green Bonds.
A proud graduate of Dalton High School, Class of 1988, Lisa began work at J & J before following her passion for healthcare. She joined Hamilton Medical Center in Sterile Processing, where she discovered her love for the surgical field. She later worked alongside Dr. David Cassidy, where she found great joy in caring for pediatric dental patients. Lisa ultimately returned to Hamilton Medical Center, where she built a fulfilling career as a Surgical Technician. She especially excelled in orthopedics, where her knowledge, steady hands, compassionate spirit, and dedication to patient care earned the admiration and respect of surgeons, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Lisa had a servant’s heart. Helping others came naturally to her and was evident in every area of her life. Whether caring for patients, encouraging friends, or supporting family, she gave of herself freely and without hesitation. Her warm smile could brighten even the darkest room, and her gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Above all, Lisa’s greatest joy was her beloved daughter, Bre Davis, whom she loved beyond measure. She treasured every moment spent with Bre and also shared a special affection for Bre’s cherished cats, Luna and Mango, who brought her countless smiles and companionship.
Lisa leaves to cherish her memories her devoted daughter, Bre Davis; her brothers, John Bonds, Don Bonds, and Tim (Felicia) Bonds; her nieces and nephews, Dee (Eric) Curtis, Allen (Caroline) Bonds, Dione Bonds, Justin Bonds, Aaliyah Bonds, and Kayla Mathis; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Myles Curtis, Emmaly Bonds, Rhyse Myers, Eli Myers, and Jaevin Ramsey; her aunts, Wilma Bonds, Maxine Parker, and Mary Ann (David) Brooks; her sisters-in-law, Janet Bonds and Patricia Mathis; along with a host of cousins, dear friends, and coworkers.

My Condolences and Prayers out to the family on Lisa's passing. May God cover and heal your hearts in your time of grief.
Lisa Davis — my friend, my sister from another mister, my confidant, and a lover of all whom she met. Lisa will always hold a special place in my heart. I first met Lisa at the hospital. She eventually left to work at my dentist's office, then my children's dentist, and later returned to the hospital. I then left to start my own practice, and she moved on to her final work family. From time to time, we'd go out to eat with the whole gang. Later, we'd meet up at the Peeples Cancer Institute for infusions side by side, talking for hours. Lisa knew I loved her, and without a doubt, I knew she loved me. To have a friend like that says everything about her upbringing, the way she raised her daughter, and how she lived life with her whole heart — fully present for her people. I will forever miss you, Lisa. I will always cherish the impact you had on me, my wife, my children, and the world. Fly high and rest well in the arms of Jesus. You are in heaven now — free from pain, sorrow, illness, and worry. I know you're having a joyful reunion with your family members and the Operating Room gang who went home too soon. When you see my wife, please give her a big hug for me. Save her mansion right next to yours and mine — we'll have a lot of catching up to do! I love you forever. I'll see you and the others soon. Love, Kelly Elliott
Lisa always lit up any room she walked in to! I'm so honored to have known her, cared for her, and the world will be a little dimmer without her in it. Praying so hard for her close friends and family and her daughter, who she loved so much!
I met Lisa as a traveler surgical technologist '05 or '06 to the surgicenter , where she was employed at the time. She and I both enjoyed orthopedic surgery, so we clicked right away. When I left Dalton, Lisa and I continued to communicate as best friends. I lost a "long distance" best friend. I miss our phone conversations, her voice, her laughter and wit. I will carry her in my heart forever. Claudia
