MRS. LULA MAE “SUNSHINE” GOUDLOCK HARRIS – Age 87, Of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 with the love of her family as she slept away from her loved ones. Mother Harris had a great love for people, her gospel music, church, and she enjoyed traveling with her son to gospel events. Her last employment was with Brown Carpets. She was preceded in death by her parents Jacie Goudlock, Sr. and Lula Mays Goudlock, husband, James Harris, Jr., daughter, Annie Marie Harris, sons, Tracey Lee Harris, and Robert G. Harris, and sister, Marva Taylor. Survivors are her sons, James E. (Peggy) Harris, Brother Walter Harris; daughter-in-law, Gloria Harris; five grandchildren, great grandchildren; sister, Minister Janie (Preston) Aker; brother, Jacie Lee Goudlock, Jr. of Calhoun, Georgia; goddaughters, Sandra Strickland of Rome, Georgia, and Sharon Hensley of Warner Robbins, Georgia; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Trinity Baptist Church, 1170 Rome Road, S. W., Calhoun, Georgia with Pastor Willie Floyd and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at New Beginnings Ministries Church Of God In Christ, Friday, February 23, 2018 from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M., at 799 Pine Street, Calhoun, GA.
