MRS. MALINDA BECK GOLDEN – AGE 61, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 06, 2022. She was born on October 15, 1960. She was preceded by her mother, Addie Marie Beck, sister Annetta Kaye “KatieBeck” Wimpy, Rachel Ramsey, and brother, Alvin Ray “Alboo” Beck. Malinda obtained a GED from Dalton State University. She was a well known softball player in Whitfield County. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and Timeless Treasures. Malinda was an active member of the Barbara Willis Weekly Bible Study. She enjoyed baking, having fish fries for friends and family and people in the community.
Survivors are her loving and devoted husband of thirty-six years, Robert “Jack” Golden; children, Kalitha “Kalida” (Minister Keith) Johnson, Michael (Lena) Beck, Tennille (Marcus) Golden, Allen Schommer, Robert “Poo” Golden; grandchildren, O’Shea “Boot Boot”, Austen, Kason, Cason, Mataya, Michael, Zavon, Michael, Tyler, Mia, Hyson, and Sexton; siblings, Richard “Ricky” Beck, Willie (Stephanie) Beck, Rebecca Beck, James Kemp, Daniel Kemp; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives; special friend, Carol Jackson, and other friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at 1:00 P. M. at Willis Funeral Home, Inc 2011 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia, 30721. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 – 5:30 P. M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
