MRS. MARGARIE BONDS MAYNARD McMEANS – Age 90, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 with her children at her bedside. She was preceded in death by her husband, David McMeans, sons, Charles Maynard, Levi Maynard, and Umar Abdul Rahman (Roy Harris). She is survived by her loving family, three daughters, Peggy Maynard, Gloria (Gregory) Newkirk, of Dalton, Georgia, and Greta (Dana) Vinson of LaFayette, Georgia; four sons, Roland Maynard, Ollie Harris, Jr., Arthur Harris, and Anthony Harris; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; one brother-in-law, Willis Baker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives; special friends, Pam Snowden, Heidi Graham, Darlene Cherubino, Robert Price, Michael Jordan, and other friends. Funeral Service will be on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 2:30 P. M. in the Chapel with Pastor Detria Smith, Dr. Jerry Jones, and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Saturday after 11:00 A. M. and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 P. M.
