Obituary For Markesha Denita Michelle Moore

MS. MARKESHA DENITA MICHELLE MOORE - Age 35, of Dalton, GA passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022. She was born June 29, 1986. She was a member of Mt. Ridge Baptist Church in Dalton, GA. She was a graduate of Dalton High School, Class of 2004. She was last employed at Hardee’s as a Cashier. She enjoyed playing basketball, listening to music, and watching music videos. She is preceded by her grandparents, Joe Spencer Burse, III and Willie James “Bo” Willis, uncle, Allen Nathaniel Moore, aunt, JoAnn Manning Burse Lumpkin.

She is survived by her parents, Michael Spencer Burse and Stephanie Denise Moore Burse; grandmothers, Martha Ann Moore “Grams” Jones and Anna Lee “Gramps” Burse; aunts, Katrina (Lamont) Smalls, Beveraly (Angie) Burse, Veronica Rena Burse, and Makeba Burse; uncles, Anthony (Delinda) Moore, and Jonothan Burse; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Ridge Baptist Church, 1401 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia 30721, with Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Eulogist. Interment, Fairground Cemetery. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00 A. M. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 P. M. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton GA.
