Obituary For Mary Lou Ernistine Ramos Garcia
SEÑORA MARY LOU ERNISTINE RAMOS GARCIA – Age 73, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was born June 18, 1950 in Clovis, New Mexico to her late parents, father Private First Class Guadalupe Garcia and mother Sadie Herrera Garcia. She was preceded in death by her son, Manuel Garcia, sisters, Mary Garcia, Julia Lucero, and Ester Herrera.
Mary was employed by Dorsett for many years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Calhoun, Georgia. She was known to dislike shopping but was an avid shopper at local flea markets in the area.
She is survived by her loving children; two daughters, Diane Garcia and Cleopatra Guerrero; son, Juan Garcia; ten grandchildren, Jesse (Veronica) Gallardo, Erik (Megan) Aquilar, Christian Aguilar, Marisa (Andre Flores) Aguilar, Isaac Garcia, Shiann Garcia, Hayley (Chris) Dodson, Sadie (Jorge Avila) Garcia, Diego (Ashley Ramos) Garcia, Meriah (Israel Salazar) Garcia; ten great grandchildren; siblings, Vicky Hernandez, Raymond Lucero, Frankie Lucero, Dorothy Escalon, Gilbert Jaramillo, and Yolanda Lucero; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and her fur grandbabies, Rocko and Addy.
Viewing, Rosary, and Funeral Ceremony, officiated by First Elder Fermin Vazquez, will be Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 4:00 P. M. – 8:00 P. M. at Willis Funeral Home. At her own request, Mary will be cremated at a later date. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
