Obituary For Maxine Passley Hill
MRS. MAXINE PASSLEY HILL – Age 73, of Dalton, Georgia and formerly of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025. Mrs. Hill was born on May 5, 1951 to the late Eddie Matthew Passley, Sr. and Vera Simpson Passley. She was the widow of Allen D. Hill, Sr. and was preceded by her daughter, Veronica Hill, sister, Georgia Ann Johnson, and brother, Eddie Matthew Passley, Jr. She retired from Collins and Aikman Mill and she was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church of Red Bud, Georgia.
Survivors are her loving and devoted sons, Allen (Rakesha) Hill and Shawn Weaver; daughters, Evette Tanner, Jennifer Tanner, and Sasha Weaver; grandchildren, Alexis Hill, Jordan Childs, Chris Childs, Ale’yshia Broome, Aleah Hill, Peyton Hill, Alijah Tanner, Omarion Tanner, Nevia Tanner, Me-ah Tanner, Raidan Hill, A’niyah Hill, Assad Tanner, Jacques Weaver, Kabryant Weaver, Aceston Weaver, and Jaylen Weaver; sister, Peggy (LeVern) Jackson, Rita Passley, Carla (Barry) Lewis; brother, Mark Passley, John (Rochelle) Passley, Luke Passley; sisters-in-law, Tiny (Brady) Hart, Annette (Marcus) Macon, Elaine Hall, Clarissa Love, and Joyce Burse; brothers-in-law, Arthur Hill, Robert Love, and Alford (Mary) Hill; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and her church family.
Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 1:00 P. M. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Claud Jones as Eulogist. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
