MOTHER ALLEAN WATSON – Age 95, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025. She was born September 21, 1929 to her late parents Ed Watson and Fannie Mae Dwight Watson. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Watson, sisters, Nettie Dwight, Annie Ruth Quinn, and Adel Carrie Lee Watson; brothers, Woodrow “Wilson” Blalock, Eugene Watson, and Walter Watson. Mother Allean was a member of Miracle Valley Church of God in Christ. She was formerly employed by the Evans Family for many years and retired from A & A Vendors.
Allean is survived by her devoted daughter, Arlean (Chester) Beck; grandchildren, Elita White, Tameca (John) Suttles, Tammy Tanner, Ryan Watson, Darion Watson, Jamon Watson, Kemon Watson; eight great grandchildren Paige, Bailey, Angel, Brooklyn, Skylar, Malachi, Aiyonna, and Ahkyla; one great great grandchild, Josiah; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and her church family.
Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at Willis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bennie Tibbs, Eulogist and Rev. Dr. Jerry D. Jones. Her remains will lie in state on Friday at Willis Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Interment, Hopewell Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.
