MRS. OLLIE MAE GREEN WHITLOW - AGE 77, Of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. She was born on March 18, 1942 to her late parents, Dennis Green and Julia Etta Knox Green Bonds and was preceded in death by her dear aunt, Exie Knox. She was a Mother on the Mothers Board at Shiloh Baptist Church and retired from First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Michael Whitlow of Dalton, Georgia; daughters, Ella Mae (Greg Crook) Fleming of Anniston, Alabama, Patricia (David Terry) Neal; son, Charles W. Bonds of Dalton; stepchildren, Marcus Whitlow, and Marquise Whitlow, of Monticello, Georgia; grandchildren, Pastor Dameita Johnson, Michael Fleming, McKendall Bonds, Zulekha Neal, Letha Morris, Tocarra Almond; great grandchildren; three sisters, Ida Bonds, Maxine Parker, of Dalton, Mary Ann (David) Brooks of Chattanooga, Tennessee; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 1:00 P. M. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 2014 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia with Pastor Edward Hoggs as Eulogist, and Rev. Chris Bonds, Presider. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Saturday after 11:00 A. M. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 – 6:00 P. M. Interment, Center Valley Cemetery, Chatsworth, Georgia.
