MRS. PATRICIA ANN WHITENER HALL – AGE 74, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021. She was born on December 25, 1946 to the late Mr. Ralph Whitener and Mrs. Henrietta Wofford Whitener. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, and a member of the Timeless Treasures. Patricia was preceded by two brothers, Benjamin and Ralph Whitener, Jr., two sisters Betty Jean Whitener, and Robbie Sue Cobb.
Survivors are her loving and devoted sons, Wallace “Tobey” (Eliscia) Hall, Jr. of Calhoun, Georgia, and Eric Hall of Dalton, Georgia; daughter, Robyn Cobb of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Brandee Cobb, Candace (Antonte) Green, Mya Hall; loving great grandchildren; sisters, Eva Murray, Eloise Griffin, Earnestine Allen, Myra Murray; brothers, Michael (Sharon) Whitener, Steve Whitener, Timothy Whitener, and Tim Whitener; nieces, nephews; aunt, Genevelyn Johnson; cousins; devoted friends, Mary Ruth Austin, Mary Womble, Yvette Parker, Tennie Hixon, Monica Thurman, Renee Bowie; other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Celebration will be on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 1:00 P. M. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 2014 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, GA with Pastor Edward Hoggs as Eulogist, Rev. Chris Bonds as Presider, and other Ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Thursday after 11:00 A. M. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 P. M. Interment, Center Valley Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.

Friend is my relationship to Ann We worked in the home of the Burnette's owners of a car dealership Ann worked days and I worked nights Often as I word enter the house through the garage the sweet smell of her apple walnut cake greeted and welcomed my nostrils She was as sweet as those cakes I thank GOD for the gift of her friendship We also shared our faith at the Shiloh Baptist Church Her as well as many of her family became my friends and we still share many of those friendships I remember Deacon Ralph Whitener pelting out those old Dr Watt hymns followed by those fervent prayers lifted up to GOD'S ears Oh what a time oh what a time we had on many a Sunday mornings She is done with the trouble of this world and is now resting in Abraham's bosom Sleep on take your rest we love your but GOD loves you best Marvin L Henderson Kent Ohio
