Obituary For Paul Croft

DEACON PAUL CROFT - Age 83, - of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023. He was born May 9, 1940 to the late Hosey and Carrie Mae Smith Croft. He was a faithful Deacon at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, retired from DuPont as a Supervisor of thirty years, was on the Ringgold Housing Authority, and a member of the Ringgold Kiwanis Club.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Mary Ann Moss Croft; two daughters, Teresa Moss–McQuerry of Ringgold, Georgia, Paula (David) Brodie of Shiloh, Illinois; three grandchildren, Matthew Brodie of Chicago, Illinois, Desmond Law of Ringgold, Taylor Brodie of New York; sisters and brothers, Dr. Floyd (Rose) Croft, Claude Croft, Ludie (General) Wymbs, Rebecca (Allen) Smith, Dorothy Croft, Josephine Fears, and Jean Davis; three brothers-in-law, Milton (Evelyn) Moss, Ronnie (Glenda) Moss, and Bruce Archie; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Service will be on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks Street, Ringgold, Georgia 30736 with Pastor Edward Ellis, III as Eulogist and other Ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour. Interment, Ringgold Community Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.

Please accept our deepest condolences to the Croft family. My last words with Paul at our family reunion in Ringgold. We spoke in remembrance of my mother and father Mack, and Charlotte Hudgins sharing our loving memories. Paul expressed nothing but respect for not only myself but my mother and father as well. I hope he understood the great respect I've always felt for him.
