Obituary For Penny Lynn Pina

MRS. PENNY LYNN PIÑA – Age 58, of Dalton, GA passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026. Penny was born October 16, 1967 in Ogdensburg, NY to the late Sharon LaJoy and Stanley Compo both from Ogdensburg, NY. She was later adopted by the late Betty Hill of Warren, PA. Penny later moved to Cleveland, MS and then to Dalton, GA in 2005. She attended Relentless Worship Center. She enjoyed baking, doing crafts, shopping, and spending time with her beloved family.

She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis Mong and Brian Duboise.

Those left to remember Penny’s memories are her husband, Juan Carlos Piña; children, Melody (Trey) Turman, Tiffany (Francisco) Chavez, Robert Carlos Piña; grandchildren, Ryleigh Chavez, Nicolas Chavez, Emilio Chavez, Danica Turman, Thomas Turman; brothers, Michael Hill and Scott (Tricia) LaFlair; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives, and friends.

The family will have a Memorial Service at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.
