MR. PRINCE JAMES WINFREY, III – Age 82, of Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024. He was the son of the late Rev. P. J. Winfrey, Jr. and Mary Pearl Winfrey. He was a graduate of Emery Street High School and Tuskegee University, and a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Dalton, GA. He was a United States Army Veteran and was Honorably Discharged.
Local survivors are his brother, Johnny (Mary) Winfrey of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Priscilla Winfrey, Marilyn Winfrey both of Atlanta, GA, and Cora Winfrey of Dalton, GA; children and grandchildren all of Cleveland, Ohio.
A Visitation and Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 1:00 P. M. at Gaines Funeral Home, 9116 Union Ave, Cleveland, OH 44105. Arrangements by Gaines Funeral Home, Cleveland, OH. Local announcement by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.
