Aunt Cilla. Where do I even begin? Friendship. Ann was my very first friend. In my heart, she later became my cousin and then my sister. It was inevitable. Our moms had a friendship like no other. I remember that Aunt Cilla would call John John "Son" and Mama had no problem with it. That alone spoke volumes. They did not always agree or have the same opinion but tip-toeing and sugarcoating just wasn't their thing. According to Proverbs 27:6 an enemy only says flattering things. Aunt Cilla and Mama were each others's voice of reason. If you trust a person to say you are right, trust that person to say that you are wrong. She affectionately called me "Sonya/Benita". She also called LaSonya "Sonya/Benita" and that is who we will always be. Ann & Family, We will always love and miss Maw Paw. She was simply genuine...a rare gem. I love y'all and I am only a call away. My prayer is for you to have safe travels here and back and that you receive all the love, support and protection that you have given us. Love always, Sonya/Benita :)

My condolences to the family. God be with you always. Priscilla Ann (AKA) Pretty Cilla, Chick, Sally, Maw-Paw and my favorite, "FRIEND". 💔Priscilla had a GIFT.(she could love unconditionally) tru mockery, humiliation and being helt in utter contempt,by the proud, she kept right on loving. Ya'll, everybody can't do that. It's church folks that can't do that. So often I would hear her say..GOD, OH THAT MY ACTIONS WOULD REFLECT YOUR WILL!!THEN I WILL NOT BE ASHAMED WHEN I STAND BEFORE YOU. In order to know "CHICK" YOU WOULD HAVE HAD TO LOOK HER UP IN GOD'S DICTIONARY(not yours)UNDER LOVE!! I LOVE YOU CHICK. (WAS MY FRIEND NOW MY ANGEL)"KITTY"
