MR. RENARD COOPER – AGE 70, - Of Riverdale, Georgia and formerly of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. He was born on March 28, 1956 to the late Julian “Buddy” Cooper and Ollie Mae Kenion Cooper. Mr. Cooper was preceded by his sister Anita Gail Turman, brothers, Lanny Cooper, and Terrance Cooper, two nephews, Ernie Oliver, and Julian Maurice “Snook” Cooper. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was Honorably Discharged. For many years he was employed as a Truck Driver.
Survivors are his wife, Cynthia Cooper; two daughters, Amber Cooper of Atlanta, Georgia, and Courtney Cooper of Germany; one grandson, Cayden Williams of Germany; sister, Catherine (Phillip) McPherson; brothers, Bernard (Cheryl) Betton and Derrick Cooper; nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 2:00 P. M. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel, 2011 Martin L. King, Jr., Blvd., Dalton, GA 30721, with Dr. Jerry D. Jones as the Eulogist. His remains will lie in state at the funeral after 12:00 noon on Wednesday until the funeral hour. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
