MR. RODERICK MICHAEL “RICKY” JACKSON, SR. – AGE 30, - Of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014. He was a graduate of LaFayette High School, a member of Highland Presbyterian Church of LaFayette, and worked formerly at Blue Bird Corporation, Nissan Brakes, and was recently to start at Roper Corporation. He was preceded in death by his father, Roderick Dylan Jackson. He is survived by his children, Roderick Michael “Little Ricky” Jackson, Jr., Seth Jackson, and Kierra Jackson; mother, Tonya Starr (Jackson) Suttle; brothers, William O. Jackson, Giovanni N. “Gio” Jackson, Tim Jackson, of LaFayette, Georgia; sisters, Hadia S. “Dee Dee” Jackson, Gwendolyn G. “Grace” Jackson of Atlanta, GA., Maricela Y. Jackson of LaFayette; grandparents, James C. Montgomery, Sr. and Gwendolyn Joyce Montgomery, Mr. Gary Morton of Summerville, GA., Mrs. Dannilynn Choate of Estecada, Oregon; great grandmother, Velma Morton of Summerville; uncles, Bryne (Pam) Jackson of LaFayette, Clifford (Sue) Jackson of Chicago, IL, Gerald Morton of Griffin, GA., Frank “J. Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1:00 p. m. at First Baptist Church, LaFayette, GA. with Minister Bob Haymes and Grace Haymes, Rev. Lopez Ludy, Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor, Sr., and other ministers officiating. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home after 11:00 a. m. Interment, LaFayette Cemetery.
