More than a friend, like a brother, Rodney's smile will live on Forever in my heart. May God comfort his Mom, Brothers, Wife, kids, Friends & Family. Your Family was a huge part of my High School Life. You followed so closely in your Dad's footsteps. Two great men that will truly be missed. My prayers are with y'all. JM278
I can't imagine the huge loss of a very dedicated and passionate father. It seemed that he was always working towards giving them the tools to succeed. He always spoke about his children and how proud he was of them.
I sent Rodney a picture of my 16 year old son in a brand new car and his response was, "that's why I think the world of you". He is the only one that got it. Others thought it was a poor decision to give a 16 year old a brand new car.
Nothing can describe the presence that Rodney has. Rodney is larger than life.
I consider Rodney a best friend who saw my soul and understood me. He took me under his wing at Georgia Southern and was like a brother. I didn't feel alone.
There are no words to describe losing a human being like Rodney from one's life.
My thoughts are with his mother, children, family and friends.
Love you forever Rodney.
I just don't have the words to express how I'm feeling. I just can't believe you are gone. We last spoke in June with a quick update on our families. I love you Rodney Curtis and you will be missed. I'll NEVER forget you shooting me with that BB gun, though β€οΈ! Eyvonnia McCrary (Graham Road Crew)

Rodney Curtis was an incredible person all around. He was one of my dearest friends. So many wonderful memories. Everytime we talked or saw each other he talked about how proud he was of his children. The last time I saw him he was showing me pictures of "not so little anymore" Mason dunking in his basketball game. I love you rodney and will miss you. Rest easy my friend
Rodney was my classmate and best friend in the 9th grade at JCHS. We lost touch after the family moved to Sopeton, but reconnected about 10 years ago and have been in touch ever since texting or talking weekly about sports, lifes ups and downs and he loved to brag and share pictures of his three childrens accomplishments. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire curtis family, but especially to Ms. Curtis, Madison, Devyon, and Mason. Love. J.M.L.
I remember Rodney as a classmate in high school. He was one of the ones that always had us laughing. Although I only spoke to him a couple of times once he left this area in Gray, I'm sure he was the same with that infectious smile. Rest on Rodney! My condolences to the Curtis family!
I have been so blessed to talk to Rodney during the most devastating time in my life. I remember his calmness, his listening ear, and his guidance. Selfishly I wish you were here! Praying for your family and for strength for all of us left behind who loved you and whose lives you enriched in more ways than you can possible ever know. My love for you will be in my heart until I take my last breath and maybe I will be lucky again and see you in the hereafter! Mβ€οΈ
