MR. RONNIE LABRON READUS, SR. - Age 72, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at a local Health Care. He was born July 1, 1951 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Cleatus Readus and Lula Mae Cathy Readus. He was a member of Mt. Peria Baptist Church, retired from Eurake Foundry. Mr. Ronnie L. Readus, Sr. was a graduate of Howard High School and Chattanooga State College, a United States Army Veteran, and he was active in the community. He was preceded by his grandparents, Flex Readus, John Cathy, and sister Cherry Hood.
He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife for over thirty years Evelyn Harris Readus; three sons, Ronnie LaBron Readus, Jr., Terrance (Michelle) Readus, and Tracy Belle; one daughter, Tamika (Antwon) McDaniel; sisters, Brenda (Richard) Cotton, Vanessa (John) Bullard; aunt, Marie Maples; two uncles, Jessie Readus, Sam Readus; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 2:00 P. M. at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks Street, Ringgold, Georgia 30736, with Pastor Edward Ellis and other Ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Ringgold Community Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
