Obituary For Sandra Bayless Turner

MRS. SANDRA SUE BAYLESS TURNER – AGE 78, - Of Rome, Georgia and formerly of Calhoun, Georgia and Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019. Sandra Sue Bayless was born to the late Margret Keelin Bayless and Jessie Miller, February 16, 1941. She was the youngest of three children. Her older brother Edward Bayless preceded her in death, and she leaves one older sister Peggy Adams. Sandra grew up in Chattanooga, TN and attended Calvin Donaldson Elementary & Howard High School. She moved away to Cleveland, OH, where she married Samuel Dillard, to this union one son was born, Ernest Dillard, who preceded her in death. She later moved back to Chattanooga area where she meet her late beloved husband Clarence Turner (Doc) who preceded her in death as well. Sandra will be best remembered for the love of her garden and her pets. She rarely met a stranger. Sandra spent her last days at Rome Health and Rehab Center where she received excellent care from a loving staff. Sandra will be remembered by her loving sister Peggy, nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick (Erica) Washington who treated her like family.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11:30 A.M., in the Willis Funeral Home Chapel, Dalton, Georgia, with Elder Wilbert McClure as Eulogist. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
