MS. SARA ELIZABETH WALKER – Age 77, of Menlo, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at her residence. She was born on November 10, 1938 to the late Isaiah Walker, Sr. and Elizabeth Almons Walker. She was retired from Best Manufacturing Company and was preceded in death by her two sisters, Rosa Lee Mack and Alice Hudgins, and two brothers, Isaiah Walker, Jr. and Robert Walker, Jr. She is survived by her two daughters, Joyce Walker of Menlo, Georgia and Patricia Walker Groce; three sons, John Walker, Scott Walker, and Lavette (Lisa) Walker, all of Summerville, Georgia; two sisters, Louise Hammonds of Chicago, Illinois and Betty Whatley of Miami, Florida; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; dear friend, Irene Parker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the New Spirit and Truth Assembly of Jesus, 487 Scoggins Street, with Bishop V. T. Harden and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment, Summerville Cemetery.
