MS. SHANTEE TANIA AJEANETTE ROGERS – AGE 38, - Of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020. She was born in Dalton, Georgia on April 15, 1981. She was preceded by her grandparents, Timothy “Mack” Dew and Evelene Dew, Dorothy Rogers Crenshaw, Mary Bennett, and uncles, James Thomas Rogers, Douglas “Doug” Dew, and Erskin Dew. She was a Specialist of The United States Army National Guard.
She is lovingly survived by her parents, Larry Rogers of Calhoun, Georgia and Carolyn Evelene Dew; sister, Michele Rogers of Cartersville, Georgia; brother, James Dew of Dalton, Georgia; honorary sister, Michelle (Jesse) Williams Yoder; aunts, Donna Renee Rogers, Debra (Jon) Pourquoi, Doris “MiMi” Crenshaw, Hilda (James) Simpson, Dora Elkins, Georgia Arlene Simpson, Melinda Taylor, Shirley Benham, Diane Dew, Edna Dew; uncles, Raymond (Lillie) Bennett, Joe (Barbara) Bennett, Keith Bennett, ; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 11:00 A. M. at the Adairsville Body of Christ Church, 255 St. Elmo Circle, Adairsville, Georgia 30103 with Bishop Kenneth Benham as Eulogist. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:30 P. M. Interment; Chandler Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
