MR. TIMOTHY WINKFIELD NEAL - AGE 66, Of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024. Mr. Neal was born June 17, 1958 to the late Lugenia Neal Dozier. He attended Dalton High School, retired from Pilgram’s Pride, was a faithful member of Bethel A. M. E. Church, and was a loyal supporter and Usher at other churches and Willis Funeral Home. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and Honorably Discharged. Mr. Neal was preceded by his parents, twin brother, Thomas Winkfield, brothers, Gordon Winkfield, and Keith Winkfield.
Survivors are his ex-wife, Patricia Neal; children, daughter, Zulekha Neal; son, McKendall Bonds; grandchildren, ZaNiya Burse, ZaHria Neal, McKasmyne Bonds, and Dallas Bonds; brother, Anthony Winkfield; stepfather, Thurman (“Catfish”) Dozier, all of Dalton, Georgia; nephews, Thomas (Kimber) Winkfield, Jr., Michael Fleming; nieces, Rachel (Erik) Rodriguez, Shalisa (Torrey) Love, Pastor Damieka (Anthony) Johnson; sister-in-law, Ella Mae Fleming; brother-in-law, William Bonds, Keith Bonds, Djunna Bonds; special friends, David (Diane) Arnold, Johnny (“Pekco”) Snowden; other relatives, friends, and his church family.
Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 1:00 P. M. at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home, 2011 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia 30721 with Rev. Erma Raymond as Eulogist, and other Ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home after 11:00 A. M. on Friday until the funeral hour. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
